A Tradition of
Equine Excellence
Since 1965, one of Louisiana's most enduring breeders of championship Quarter Horses — the home of Hall of Fame stallions, a Grade 1–producing roster, and a family-run program defined by patience and care.
For sixty years, our family has bred and raced champion Quarter Horses from the heart of Louisiana — building a roster anchored by Hall of Fame stallions, and a program defined by patience, intent, and care for the horses entrusted to us.
It's not what we lost, but what we were blessed with for the time we had [Feature Mr Jess] as a racehorse and a stallion. What he accomplished was just phenomenal.
The Stallion Roster
A storied lineage of champions standing in Ventress — each chosen with intention, each producing on the track, each carrying the Jumonville name forward.

The Jumonville Family
John Enoul Jumonville, Jr. — known to the racing world simply as J.E. — is among the most influential and longstanding figures in the Louisiana racing and breeding industry. He owns and operates Jumonville Farms in Ventress, Louisiana, alongside his wife Bunny.
The Jumonvilles are proud parents of three sons — J.E. "Tres" III, Dutcher, and Clayton — and the farm has carried their name forward as one of the top Louisiana breeders since its founding in 1965.
For sixty years, the family has built a roster of champions through a deliberate philosophy: select with patience, breed with intent, and steward each horse with care. The result is a stable of stallions whose names live on through their progeny — and a legacy still being written.
